The Antumbral Vault

Seeking: Guards, informants, smugglers, and adventurers who know that sometimes the law is in the wrong.

Founded by a pair of Sharlayans, the Vault started it's life as a polite legal fiction to help gleaners move items across borders that they technically shouldn't be crossing. Since then, the company has grown to include commerce from Ul'dah to Thavnair, and nigh everywhere in between, importing and exporting- often even with the correct paperwork.With the latest unpleasantness in Garlemald, the Vault has set up a forward base in-country, and are looking for contacts to help facilitate an outreach program.

The Angry Yan is NOT a sprout-friendly venue. Discussion and roleplay may include elements from and speculation about current MSQ (currently 7.5). We ask for players to refrain from incorperating new patch content for about a month after release to give players a chance to catch up, and 3 months following the upcoming expansion release.We also host Flower's Foundry, a low-spoiler tea shop and fight club located in Ul'dah. We ask players to avoid major MSQ spoilers beyond Stormblood in that space.Our discord server is similarly split to avoid spoiling sprouts, and MSQ spoilers can be discussed in optional channels. We ask that you select roles appropriate to your content level if you wish to avoid spoilers.

The Antumbral Vault is an RPFC focused on exploring the darker side of Eorzea, Sharlayan, and beyond. We remember the Bibliothecs and all that they represent. Membership is not required to play!

A loose collection of smugglers, scoundrels, informants, and adventurers, this FC might be a good fit if you have a character who is a bad guy- but not a bad guy. We're looking for people who want to explore the after-effects of current content, or just to hang out in a dive bar and get into some fights.

While the Antumbral Vault and its associated venues do not permit ERP/NSFW content, we engage with mature and 'dark' themes in FFXIV: substance abuse, violence, systemic oppression, and abuse are (among others) themes that may come up in play.

OOC rp rules

We're using the standard grindstone fighting ruleset , with a twist:

Before you fight, you will need to call out your selected "class" of combat.

The classes of combat are
Hand and Blade.

Hand: Anything you were born with, along with any alchemicals you want to consume.Blade: Weapons are allowed, as are any alchemicals you'd like to throw.Pulling a weapon in Hand will get you yanked out of the pit; using magic in either catagory will see you dragged from the bar. Don't make the doctor work more than he has to.

If you have a conflict with a company member- well, no, you don't, or you take it to the pit. Rules are available per stage.
